How to make a list of belongings

they half open a room

I think the most difficult thing to do in creating a list of belongings, not just minimalists, is forgetting to list your belongings.

To prevent this, let's make half of the room empty space and put the counted one here.

If you can't move something, fill out the list in advance so you don't forget to list it.

List of things that can be moved

Let's type "classification, name, number" of belongings to excel for each place such as washbasin, kitchen, entrance, etc.

Since the name and classification of belongings can be corrected later, it is important to first grasp the type and number.

Once you've entered it in the list, put it in the empty space you just provided (do this thoroughly)

List of things that can't be moved

When everything that can be moved enters the space of the example, we will start listing home appliances from the back of the room.

It is easy to forget curtains, washing machines, and the decoration of the room installed later, etc. that are too natural and are not recognized as belongings.

If you have forgotten something, let's put it in the example space in addition to the list. Be careful what's outside.

Sort by filter

Select the input column in Excel and sort it with "Data > Filter" to make it easier to understand the number of items you have.

After that, you can use the SUM function to check the total number and the number of items for each classification, or use it to check your belongings after moving.

When moving, it is surprisingly convenient to make a list because it tends to dispose of consumables and unnecessary things.

This rule

Consumables such as medical examination tickets, documents, medicines, cotton swabs, etc. are counted as one type, shoes and socks are counted as one pair with two.

The air conditioners installed from the original, electricity, and their remote controls are not counted because they are not their own.

It also does not count on smartphone or tablet covers or SIM cards.
